The Samyang 24mm T1.5 VDSLR ED AS IF UMC II for Sony was carefully designed for professional film and video work so that the focus gear was installed to follow the focus system. You can change the aperture quietly and smoothly with the uncoated aperture gear. The T number which guides the actual amount of light transmission and the distance scale is marked on both sides of the lens to be filmed precisely. This lens operates in a manual aperture system with a low T number which allows natural shooting under a variety of light lighting conditions.

This lens features 13 lenses in 12 groups including 4 extra low dispersion (ED) lenses and 2 glass aspherical (ASP) lenses. The ED lens of the 24mm T1.5 II effectively controls light dispersion to prevent flare and ghosts. ASP lenses minimize color aberration to realize excellent image quality and high contrast for the center and corner of the image even when the aperture is fully opened. Samyang Optics’ Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology optimizes light penetration to minimize explosions and ghosts. The Samyang 24mm T1.5 II is known for its beautiful and soft bokeh.
