SmallRig KCCS2694 Overview

The Camera Cage Kit from SmallRig combines a durable aluminum camera cage with a wood-lined top handle. Designed to protect and add accessories to your Sony a7 III or a7R III camera, the cage maintains access to camera controls and ports and features a shoe mount, multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 accessory mounting threads, and ARRI-style anti-twist accessory threads.

The top handle is lined with wood for a comfortable, solid grip, and it also features numerous 1/4″-20, 3/8″-16, and ARRI-style mounting threads, as well as an additional shoe mount. The handle connects to the cage using a thumbscrew. The cage features a 1/4″-20 camera mounting screw and rubber padding on the base to prevent scratches. An M2.5 screw on the side of the cage provides additional security so the camera doesn’t twist, and it also includes slots for optional neck or shoulder straps.
